Section Picnic is an event like no other. It’s going to be fun, energetic, and there will be great food!
After a year of cancelled and virtual events, Section NE-6A is back with it’s first in-person event since early 2020. Since Nentego Lodge did not get to host an in-person Conclave, Section Picnic will be held at Akridge Scout Reservation (1910 Baden Powell Way, Dover, DE 19904).
The whole event is a day event from 12:00 (noon) – 4:00 (PM)on October 10th, participants may arrive and leave as needed, however, we hope to see you there all day! Scouts, Scouters, Friends, and Family are all welcome to attend this event. Food, drinks, and program will be provided, although participants may bring their own food. The food will be catered by Mission BBQ. If you have any dietary restrictions, please contact us at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. The cost for participants is $20 and there are no refunds. Registration closes on October 7th. Admission to the picnic includes the cost of food, drinks, and any program and activities that are sponsored by the Section at the event. However, participants are welcome to bring their own program items such as patches to trade, deck of cards, Frisbee, Soccer ball, etc.
Picnics are always a good time to enjoy great food, fellowship, and activities and this event is no exception! This event is happening rain or shine, in the event of rain we encourage everyone to bring some type of game or activity, we will be under a large pavilion, so we won’t get too wet.
